May Market Update 🏡

May was very similar to April, with near identical numbers for sales, the sales to active listings ratio, new listings, and average percentage of original list price received.

Despite inventory levels nearing 10 year highs, some sellers are still finding success in today’s market. While many properties are sitting on the market for months, others with desirable features, strong locations, and competitive pricing are attracting significant interest and, in some cases, multiple offers.

Up, up, up. The spring market and warm weather have finally arrived.

Sales more than doubled in April compared to March, with 32 sales last month versus 14 the month prior. The sales to active listings ratio also increased, giving sellers more optimism heading into May and June.
