These concrete block beds have been our go to “figure it out as we go” solution when we wanted to expand but weren’t 100% sure on placement or long term style.

Easy to set up. Easy to reconfigure. Easy to move if plans change.

Bonus: the openings in the blocks become extra planting space.

Honestly… real estate and gardening have some overlap. Sometimes the best plan starts with something flexible instead of locking into the final version right away.

A few years ago, if Cindy asked me to come help in the garden, my enthusiasm level was… well it was it low 😅

But somewhere along the way, helping turned into actually enjoying it.

There’s something pretty satisfying about building something slowly, putting in the work, and seeing it grow over time. ⏰ 

Honestly, real estate feels a lot like that too. Good results usually come from consistency, patience, and having the right plan. 💪 

Now we’ve got carrots, potatoes, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkins, peppers, tomatoes, herbs, and more than a few flowers I’ll pretend I can identify 🌱

Raised garden beds don’t have to be one size fits all. We mixed a few different styles to keep things functional and add a bit of character to the space.

Shoutout to for our soil! We top up with their Pro Soil every season. When we first built these, we ran a mix of Pro Soil and Hank’s Blend, and it’s been a solid combo.

If you’ve got the space, this is one of those upgrades that keeps giving back.
