There is something about the mountains that quiets the noise and reminds me of what truly matters. 🤍🏔️

Today we spent 4.5 hours wandering through God’s incredible creation. Perfect weather, breathtaking views, and the company of my sweet hubby, it was the kind of day that fills your soul long after the hike is over.

Every mountain peak, every wildflower, every rushing stream whispers of the Creator. I never feel more grounded, more at peace, or more connected to my Heavenly Father than in the mountains.

I’m endlessly grateful for a body that carries me to places like this, for the privilege of living just an hour from the Rockies, and for the reminder that God’s masterpiece is all around us, inviting us to slow down, look up, and simply be still.

Today wasn’t just about handing over keys, it was about closing one chapter and celebrating the beginning of another.

Today my sweet nephew graduated preschool, and I felt so incredibly blessed to be there cheering him on. 🥹🎓❤️

At the same time, it was another one of those moments that hit me hard… realizing this is one of many milestones my mom should be here for. Mother’s Day, Easter, her birthday tomorrow, my baptism on Sunday, and now this graduation have all brought waves of grief I wasn’t fully prepared for.

Some days are easier than others, but today was heavy. Her presence, her love, her voice, her excitement over moments like this… it’s deeply missed. 💔

I know she’s in heaven watching over all of us, proud of her grandbabies and still somehow sending little signs of love when we need them most. And while grief can feel overwhelming, I’m so thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the promise of eternal life. The hope of knowing this goodbye is not forever, and that one day I’ll get to hug my mom again, brings me comfort on the hardest days. 🤍
