Good news! With a beautiful day in the forecast for Monday, the Athabasca Spray Park will remain open for one more day on Monday, September 21. ☀️

The Spray Park will officially close for the season at the end of the day Monday.

The Town of Athabasca is hosting a Budget Open House on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion (4801 48 Street), in the basement.

Come learn more about Council’s plans for the 2027 Operating and Capital Budgets, ask questions, and share your feedback.

Update: Watermain Break Repaired

The watermain break affecting 55th Street has been successfully repaired, and water service has been restored to all affected properties.

Road closures and traffic restrictions on 55th Street between 48 Ave and 49 Ave have now been lifted, and the roadway has reopened to traffic.

We would like to thank residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation while crews completed the necessary repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
