Celebrating the life of Norman "Norm" Kneeshaw ❤️
Our Q family lost someone near and dear to our hearts yesterday. Cancer took a friend, a father, a grandpa, and our broker Jan Hick’s partner in crime... there’s really no other way to say it when they were together.
Norm was never short on jokes and was always laughing. He had a way of bringing a smile to those around him. He was kind, always smiling, and always willing to lend a hand wherever he could. He was simply one of those people who made a difference just by being there.
He was a devoted man who dedicated many years to Air Canada before retiring a few years ago. He loved golfing and spending winters in Arizona.
Jan has been by Norm’s side throughout this entire journey, supporting him every step of the way and being there for him in the best way she knew how.
The whole time Norm was in the hospital, he sported the Q blanket. Jan told us it was his favourite. We think that says a lot about Norm and the connection he had with all of us. Even during such a difficult time, he still had a little piece of his Q family with him.
We will miss his laughter, his kindness, his stories, and, of course, his sense of humour. Most of all, we will miss having Norm at our Q events.
To Jan, Zak, Zoe and Norm’s family, we know words cannot express the depth of your loss. We hope to continue to honour Norm by sharing a Dad joke (or two), and by, of course, sporting the Q wherever we go.
