The City of Barrie has introduced a new Community Planning Permit System for the Allandale area that streamlines development approvals into a single permit, reducing approval timelines to 45 days to help accelerate housing growth while ensuring thoughtful community planning. This is a big deal! It typically takes months or even years to move through this process. This will be great to help revitalize some parts of Barrie. Check out the map to see that area that will be impacted.
