🇨🇦 BANK OF CANADA RATE UPDATE

The Bank of Canada has increased its policy interest rate by 0.25% today.

📈 Previous Rate: 2.25%
📈 New Rate: 2.50%

This is the first rate increase since July 2023.

The Bank says inflation is expected to remain higher and more persistent than previously projected, and further rate increases may be considered if necessary.

🏡 For homeowners, buyers & investors:
Changes to the Bank of Canada rate can impact variable-rate mortgages, lines of credit and other borrowing costs.

بانک مرکزی کانادا امروز، ۲۸ اکتبر ۲۰۲۶، نرخ بهره را ۰.۲۵٪ افزایش داد.

📈 نرخ قبلی: ۲.۲۵٪
📈 نرخ جدید: ۲.۵۰٪

این اولین افزایش نرخ بهره از جولای ۲۰۲۳ است.

بانک مرکزی اعلام کرده که چشم‌انداز تورم بالاتر و ماندگارتر از پیش‌بینی‌های قبلی است و در صورت نیاز، احتمال افزایش بیشتر نرخ بهره نیز وجود دارد.
