The Fraser Valley market is continuing its usual seasonal cooldown, and pretty much every statistic is trending downward right now. Sales, active listings, you name it. Properties in Chilliwack and across the Valley are sitting a bit longer, and buyers are understandable more cautious with continued economic uncertainty from the US political climate still rippling through Canada's economy.

That said, prices are continuing to dip as properties stay on the market for longer than expected. If you've been sitting on an offer you've been thinking over, now might be the time to take action on it. Prices, especially for condos, are dipping consistently and inventory is taking a bit of a hit as well. But that's typical for this time of year. Even in the cooling market, prices continue to draw in first-time buyers looking to get the most for their money.
