Summer in Greystone Estates is something else entirely. 🌸🌿

We took a little walk through the neighbourhood recently and couldn't stop stopping. Peonies spilling over perfectly manicured hedges. Japanese maples in full glory. Lavender lining the pathways. Ornamental grasses catching the breeze alongside river rock and driftwood that feel like they belong here naturally — because they do.

The gardens in this community are a quiet testament to the pride people take in their homes and their neighbourhood. Every front yard tells its own story, and together they create something really special to walk through on a sunny Comox Valley morning.

Our Team Spotlight | Jackson — Shoreline Finishing

Every time you run your hand along the cabinetry in an Integra home and notice how perfectly it all fits together, that's Jack's work you're admiring.

Jack is the owner of Shoreline Finishing, a Comox Valley–based cabinetry company specializing in custom cabinetry for new home construction and renovations. For over a decade he has worked closely with Integra Homes, bringing each space to life with a combination of quality craftsmanship, functional design, and the kind of careful attention to detail that makes all the difference in a finished home.

From the sleek black cabinetry with gold hardware in our current show home kitchen, to the beautifully appointed ensuites and walk-in pantries that make everyday living feel effortless — Jack's work is woven into every corner of an Integra build.

Beyond the craft, Jack places enormous value on the relationships he builds along the way — with builders, trades, and homeowners alike. That collaborative spirit is something we feel every single day on the job.

When he's not in the workshop, Jack is home in the Comox Valley with his wife Kath and their two kids Connor and Primrose — living the good life in the community he helps build. 💛

Some kitchens make you want to cook. This one makes you want to stay all day. 🏡✨

The kitchen and dining area at our current show home at 3234 Wi******er Avenue is one of those spaces that strikes you the moment you walk in. Sleek black cabinetry with gold hardware, quartz countertops and backsplash, glass cabinet doors flanking the stove, and stunning Fisher & Paykel appliances that are as beautiful as they are functional. An island that seats three comfortably — perfect for morning coffee with friends or keeping the conversation going while dinner comes together.

To the right of the cooking area, a separate prep space with an undermount sink sits beneath a window that draws in the natural light beautifully. Open shelving invites you to display the things you love — cookbooks, plants, a favourite vase. It’s the kind of kitchen that feels personal before you’ve even moved in.

The dining area is anchored by a tray ceiling and a large window overlooking the backyard, with the table set just so beneath a stunning light fixture that adds warmth and ambience to every gathering. Earthy toned artwork, warm natural light, and those gorgeous Pravada floors running throughout — it all comes together in the most effortless way.

Words like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. Thank you Tracy and Russell. 💛

"Our dream of building a custom home designed specifically for our lifestyle and future retirement was just that, a dream, until we met Bill Larson. We had taken a drive through Crown Isle while visiting from Vancouver and serendipitously discovered Integra Homes in Greystone Estates. We were instantly captivated by the design and pride in craftsmanship clearly evident throughout the show home.
First impressions of Bill; kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy — and these characteristics resonated throughout our entire experience. Bill was also calm, available and engaged in every facet of this build, from dream, to concept, budget, design, design modifications, electrical walkthrough, landscape consultation, materials, finishing and fixtures selection right through to our happy ending, move-in yay!

As an out-of-town client, Bill kept us well-informed on key milestones, sent frequent progress pictures and videos and would meet us for a site walkthrough when we were in town. Over the course of the build we also had the opportunity to observe the care, patience, creativity and attention to detail of many professionals of the Integra Homes team with special shout outs to Darrin, Debra, Ethan, Jackson, Jim, Joel and the all-women's painting crew whom we met along the way and to Byron the master tiler who slayed the inline glass tile installation in our kitchen.

The Integra Standard ✨

Beautiful cabinetry hides away the tools, hardware, and detergents — because a calm home starts with a calm entry.

Wags & Whiskers 🐾 | Meet Rory

Greystone Estates has a new self-appointed Head of Security — and he takes his job very seriously.

Meet Rory. Full name Trekhond’s Hear Me Roar. Call name Rory. Title: Chief Neighbourhood Watch Officer, Greystone Estates. Breed: Tibetan Spaniel. Age: 4. Credentials: impeccable.

This bright, confident, and occasionally cheeky little guy can most often be found stationed at his window sill — which Bill Larson made absolutely sure was perfectly wide enough for him — keeping a watchful eye over the neighbourhood and its residents, both human and furry alike. When he’s not at his post, he’s patrolling the top of the backyard retaining wall, which Rory is firmly convinced Ethan built exclusively for his security detail. We have not told him otherwise.

Off duty, Rory loves taking in the views from the bow of a boat, running the sandy beaches of Vancouver Island, and soaking up every ray of sunshine the Comox Valley has to offer. After a busy day of zoomies and neighbourhood surveillance, you’ll find him cuddled up with his mum or dad. (Don’t worry Rory — your secret is safe with us. 🤫)

And as for his social life? Let’s just say Rory has very good taste. He’s completely smitten with the girl next door, Rosie — and if we’re being honest, Millie and Roxy have also caught his eye. A charmer through and through.

Welcome to the neighbourhood, Rory. Greystone Estates is lucky to have you. 🐾💛
