A few years ago, this would have meant something very different to me.
Proof I was good enough.
Proof I was working hard enough.
Proof I was “winning.”
I don’t measure my life that way anymore.
What matters to me now is whether the work means something.
Did I help someone make a decision they felt confident in?
Did I tell the truth, even when it would have been easier not to?
Did I protect someone from making a bad move?
And maybe most importantly, did I remember that while this work matters, it is not my whole world?
The strange thing about success is that the second you reach it, it moves.
There is always another month, another number, another goal, and another reason to keep chasing.
But helping someone make a decision they feel good about for years?
Living a life that actually feels like your own?
That actually matters.
Thank you to every client, referral partner, friend, family member, and teammate who trusted me enough to be part of their journey this year.
