Me, trying very hard not to ruin the moment while everyone is already mentally arranging their furniture. 😂
I love when buyers walk into a home and immediately get that feeling. You can usually see it on their face before they even say anything.
But while they’re imagining Christmas mornings, where the couch will go and whether the backyard will fit the dog, I’m usually looking at something completely different.
How old are the big-ticket items? Is there anything about the layout that might become annoying six months from now? What’s happening with the grading? How does the location affect resale? Is the price actually supported by the market, or are we falling in love with really good staging?
My job isn’t to talk you out of a home you love. It’s to make sure the excitement doesn’t stop us from asking the questions that still matter.
Because the best feeling isn’t just finding a house you love.
It’s finding one you love and still feeling good about the decision after we’ve looked at it properly.
That’s usually when I know we’re onto something. 🤍
