can you now create an infographic that i can use for an instagram pos🏡 A low offer isn’t necessarily a bad offer.

There’s a big difference between offering below asking price with a solid strategy — and submitting an offer that simply doesn’t make sense.

A low offer can still be reasonable when it’s supported by comparable sales, the home’s condition, time on market and current Edmonton market conditions.

A bad offer may ignore market value, include difficult terms, or be so unrealistic that it shuts down negotiations before they really begin.

💡 The goal isn’t just to offer less — it’s to make an offer that gives you the best chance of getting the right home at the right price.

And for sellers? Don’t automatically dismiss an offer just because it comes in below asking. Sometimes there’s an opportunity to negotiate a deal that works for everyone.

August brought a mix of steady pricing and a slower pace of sales across the Greater Edmonton Area. Here’s how the different property types performed:

• Average price: $576K
• Median price: $525K
• Average price is up 1.0% year-over-year
• Average days on market: 38 days

🏘️ Semi-Detached Homes
• Average price: $424K
• Median price: $418K
• Average price is up 0.8% year-over-year
• Average days on market: 41 days

🔑 Row/Townhouses
• Average price: $298K
• Median price: $292K
• Average price is down 1.2% year-over-year
• Average days on market: 45 days

🏢 Apartment Condominiums
• Average price: $215K
• Median price: $190K
• Average price is down 1.2% year-over-year
• Average days on market: 48 days

What does this mean for buyers and sellers?
