🎈 MONDAYS WITH MEGAN: BIRTHDAY EDITION

Today’s MWM is a little less real estate… and a little more me. 🥂

Birthdays have a funny way of making you stop and think about where you were a year ago, what changed, what didn’t, what you learned, and what you’re still figuring out.

This past year has brought a LOT of change, growth, big decisions, exciting plans, and a few unexpected plot twists. 😂

And if there’s one thing I’m taking into this next year, it’s this:

🤍You don’t have to have it all figured out.
🤍You’re allowed to change your mind.
🤍Success doesn’t always look the way you thought it would.
🤍And sometimes the best chapters start when you have absolutely no idea what’s coming next.

So, for this year of life, I’m choosing more gratitude, more adventure, more time with the people I love, and a lot less worrying about whether everything is going according to plan.

And because this is Mondays with Megan… here’s my real estate birthday wish:

🏡 May everyone reading this find a home they absolutely love.
🔑 May every move bring you closer to where you’re meant to be.
📈 May your investments grow.
❤️ And may your next chapter be even better than the one you’re leaving behind.

Hi folks, so, I’m pregnant!

I’ve been pretty open about it with my circle, but with less than a week until we meet this little girl, it felt like it was time to share the news here, too.

It’s been quite a year. I joined REMAX Excellence with big plans to jump head-first into real estate, and since then I’ve studied, trained, networked, hosted countless open houses, and learned Edmonton from a whole new perspective; all while continuing my career in policy.

Then, nine months ago, we found out we were expecting. 🤍 🎉

Life has certainly thrown a few curveballs along the way, and I’m grateful for everything this year has brought.

Now I’m adding mom to the list.

I’m still learning, still building, and still here to help with all things real estate. Whether you’re buying, selling, curious about the market, or just have a question my door is always open.🚪👋

📝✒️One of the things I think is really important in real estate is understanding what you're signing, not just signing because someone tells you to.

Buying or selling a home can involve a lot of paperwork, terminology and decisions that you may only encounter once or twice in your life.

You should feel comfortable asking questions. You should understand how your REALTOR® works, how compensation works, what you're agreeing to and what you can expect from the relationship.

And if your REALTOR® can't explain something in a way that makes sense to you? Ask again!

Always learning, always growing. 🏡📚

One thing I really value about working in real estate is that there is always more to learn. I’m currently working through a Buffini course as well as continuing my Rural Real Estate course to expand my knowledge and better serve my clients.

I believe being a great Realtor means more than just helping someone buy or sell a home. It means staying educated, understanding the market, continuing to build your skills, and being someone your clients can rely on throughout the process.
