We're looking forward to the New Year's Eve celebrations happening right out our front door this evening! Happy New Year from the team at Griz Inn RMC Rentals & Park Vacation Management!

Ring in the New Year with a night of free, family-friendly fun on the mountain.

Join us for an evening of crafts, games, live music, and a spectacular fireworks show on the Mighty Moose slope at 9 pm, presented in partnership with Fernie BC. The best viewing areas will be at the base of the Mighty Moose run.

Live Music | 7–9 pm
Head to Slopeside Café for live music by Naena Robinson and drinks and snacks for purchase.

Family Activities | 7–9 pm
Enjoy free family crafts, games, and a family photo booth in the Daylodge.
Please note: this is a family fun event, not a supervised drop-off. Children must be accompanied by a parent or family member at all times.

Night skiing | 4 - 9 pm
Join us for night skiing on the Mighty Moose. A Season Pass or Lift Ticket is required. Daytime lift tickets from December 31 are valid for night skiing, or night-ski-only tickets can be purchased at the Rental Shop.

Important Note
Due to the high volume of people expected for New Year’s Eve, no sledding or tobogganing is permitted on the Mighty Moose or lower mountain.

🚡 Elk Chair runs daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with extended hours until 7:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

🚡 Timber Chair operates weekends only from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm starting June 28, except July 12 & 13 (closed for the Canada Cup Downhill Race).
