Hello and welcome! 👋

My name is Denisse Van Den Hurk, and I'm excited to officially introduce myself as a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker United Fort McMurray.

Originally from the Philippines, I moved to Fort McMurray in 2004 and have proudly called this community home for the past 22 years. This is where I've built my career, raised my family, and developed a deep appreciation for the people and connections that make Fort McMurray such a wonderful place to call home.

Real estate has always felt familiar to me, as my mom was a Realtor here in Fort McMurray for many years. Watching her build relationships and help families through important milestones gave me an early appreciation for the impact a trusted Realtor can have in our community.

Helping people has always been at the heart of what I do. Through my work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Public Health for the past 13 years and as a new small business owner, I've had the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and build meaningful relationships within our community. Those experiences have shaped who I am and inspired me to begin this next chapter in real estate.

From a FOR SALE sign to possession day in less than 30 days!

Monday was an especially rewarding day as I handed over the keys and celebrated a successful closing for both the buyers and sellers of this wonderful Thickwood home.

I've had the privilege of working with Jon and Nicole since the fall as we searched for the right fit for their growing family. We toured homes, explored different neighbourhoods, navigated a few disappointments, and stayed patient throughout the process. Then this home hit the market—and it just fit.

It was also an honour to represent both the buyers and the sellers in this transaction, helping bring together a smooth and seamless sale that moved from a for sale sign to possession in less than 30 days.

Moments like these are a reminder that the right home is worth waiting for, and that sometimes everything comes together exactly when it's meant to.
