🌱 Volunteers Needed for Summer Garden Watering! 🌱

It's that time of year again. Our students and teachers have done a great job getting the garden started, now we're looking for volunteers to help keep it going! (In the past we’ve had one person be responsible for watering one day a week.—but many hands make light work, the more volunteers the better)

The garden is easy to get to—right at the end of the bus loop and next to the soccer field—and it only takes 10 minutes water. Super quick, especially if you’re already there for practice or games.

This weekend I’ll be at Home Depot supporting Fredericton Community Kitchens and the Orange Door Project from 10:00 AM–12:30 PM both Saturday and Sunday.

The campaign helps support local youth facing food insecurity and other barriers. If you’re in the area, come by and learn more about the great work they’re doing.

The Orange Door Project campaign with Home Depot starts today!

From May 12th to June 14th, Fredericton Community Kitchens is partnering with the Orange Door Project, a Home Depot Canada initiative, to raise essential funds supporting youth in our community. Funds raised through this campaign will directly support young people facing barriers such as poverty and food insecurity through our Student Hunger Program.

The Fredericton Home Depot will be collecting donations in support of our cause throughout the campaign. Each weekend, our team will also have a table set up in-store where you can stop by to donate, learn more about our programs, and connect with us.
