💰 Do You Qualify for the $50,000 New Home GST Rebate?

Under Bill C-4, first-time buyers in New Brunswick can save up to $50,000 on a new build. In Episode 2, Tom Miller outlines the exact criteria to claim your share:
🔹 First-Time Buyer Status: You must not have owned or lived in a home you owned within the past 4 years. (If it's been 4+ years, you are considered a first-time buyer again!)
🔹 Residency & Age: You must be 18 or older and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
🔹 Primary Residence Only: The home must be your principal residence. Investment properties and house flippers do not qualify.
🔹 The Timeline: Your purchase contract must have been signed on or after March 20, 2025.

🔹 100% GST Rebate: First-time buyers purchasing a new build or fully renovated home up to $1,000,000 now get a 100% rebate on the 5% federal tax. The federal tax is officially 0%!
🔹 Massive Savings: This puts up to $50,000 back into your pocket depending on the purchase price.
🔹 Partial Rebates: Properties between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000 still qualify for partial savings. For example, a $1,250,000 home keeps $25,000 in your pocket.
