Three years ago, their journey to buying their first home began. ❤️
At the time, the timing just wasn’t right, so we pivoted and helped them find a lease while they figured out what came next.
A year later, they were ready to start exploring the idea of buying again. We kept a close eye on the market, talked through affordability, and started looking at what was realistically within reach. It became clear that the homes they wanted at that time weren’t quite fitting within their budget.
So, we went back to the drawing board and created a plan.
They made the incredibly smart decision to move into their parents’ basement, allowing them to save on rent and put money away for their future home. And they did exactly that.
Fast-forward another year, and their patience and discipline had paid off. They had saved a significant amount, and with changing market conditions, their opportunities as buyers had grown.
We looked at everything from condos and townhomes to detached homes, exploring communities from Cambridge all the way to Georgetown. Through it all, the goal stayed the same: find the right place for these two to start their lives together, in a location they loved and at a price that made sense for their future.
And now, after three years of planning, patience, saving, searching, and plenty of conversations… they are officially FIRST-TIME HOMEOWNERS! 🏡❤️
I am so incredibly excited for this young couple. It has been such an honour and a privilege to work with them, get to know them, and be a small part of their journey over the past three years.
Their first home is more than just a purchase. It represents the plan they made, the sacrifices they were willing to make, and the future they are building together.
And perhaps one of the most special parts? I get to call them not just clients, but part of my community, and I can’t wait to watch their lives continue to change and grow in the years ahead.
