This weekend, we’re feeling extra grateful — for our incredible clients, our dedicated team across the province, and another record-setting year of growth at Grassroots Realty Group. This week we had the pleasure of announcing to, and celebrating with the Grassroots Realty Group - South office, that we’d been named one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies.

Grassroots South has been integral to the growth in our business in the last three years. Over a billion in sales. Hundreds of thousands raised for Alberta charities. But what we’re most proud of, is the quality of people.

A southern Alberta team that still treats every listing, every client, every town like it counts, because they do.

Growth looks tidy on a list. Up close it looks like agents who know the street, the school, the neighbour, and why a family is actually moving. Ot looks like hundreds of like minded individuals getting after it, every day. It looks like a south team that has carried a huge share of the growth, while the map of Alberta offices kept getting bigger.

We’re pleased to welcome Dean McLaren to the Property Management Division at Grassroots Realty Group South as a Licensed Property Manager. With strong ties to Southern Alberta and a hands-on approach, Dean shares our commitment to people, relationships and community.

Get to know Dean in his own words: My name is Dean McLaren, and I’m proud to call Lethbridge and Southern Alberta home. I’ve always been a people person, and throughout my career I’ve enjoyed working with people, building relationships, solving problems, and being someone others know they can count on.
I’m excited to bring that experience into my role as a Licensed Property Manager with Grassroots Realty South. For me, property management is about much more than looking after buildings. Every property represents an important investment for an owner, but it’s also a place someone calls home. I believe both sides deserve to be treated with respect, honesty, and understanding.
I’m a hands-on person who believes in getting things done. I value open communication, following through on what I say I’m going to do, and finding practical solutions when challenges come up. I also enjoy getting to know the people I work with because I believe strong relationships make everything work better.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, golfing, watching hockey, travelling, and simply enjoying life. I’m proud to be part of the Lethbridge community and look forward to meeting new people and building lasting relationships through this next chapter of my career.
