📢 Bank of Canada Holds Interest Rates at 2.25%

The Bank of Canada has once again held its overnight rate at 2.25%, continuing its wait-and-see approach as it monitors inflation, economic growth, and ongoing global uncertainty.

While challenges remain—including geopolitical tensions and trade uncertainty—the Canadian economy is showing signs of improvement.

Consumer spending remains solid, exports are recovering, and housing activity appears to be stabilizing.

For real estate, stable interest rates provide greater certainty for buyers and sellers. Predictable borrowing costs help buyers make informed decisions, and as confidence continues to improve, many are expecting a stronger fall market.

While interest rates influence affordability and buyer confidence, they don't sell homes—pricing, preparation, and strategy do.
