What you don’t see is the sound proofing that makes this room a perfect man cave.

Behind the scenes of building a quieter, more peaceful space! 🛠️🎧
This setup features resilient channels and acoustic isolation clips mounted directly to ceiling joists and wall framing. Here’s what it does:
* Soundproofing / Acoustic Decoupling: Instead of screwing drywall directly into the wooden studs, these metal channels float slightly off the frame using rubber-isolated brackets.
* Vibration Control: By disconnecting the wall board from the structure, impact noise (like footsteps or vibrations) and air-borne sound (voices or music) can’t easily transfer through the ceiling or walls.
* Thermal Efficiency: Paired with spray foam insulation, it seals in climate control while keeping outside noise exactly where it belongs—outside.
Ideal for home theaters, recording studios, basement suites, or just keeping the peace between floors! 🏠✨

A small drywall repair. The customer didn’t want to do the mudding and finishing so after he put up the drywall I worked my magic and made the patch disappear…and this is before any primer and paint went up.

The end result of the bathroom I posted a little while ago. If you ever want to make your tile guy question his existence, ask him to install marble herringbone mosaic tiles.
