Some news we’ve been waiting to share.

The Angry Roaster Coffee Co. is joining Valley City Works as our anchor tenant. They’re relocating their entire roasting operation to 64 Hatt Street and opening a café and bakery alongside it — with a patio facing the new courtyard at the heart of the property.

When we took on this building, the goal was never just to fill it. Valley City Manufacturing made things here for over 180 years, and we wanted tenants who’d carry that forward. A working roastery — production in the back, coffee and fresh baking out front, people gathering in the courtyard — is exactly what this place was meant to become.

Façade restoration and courtyard construction are set to begin in the coming weeks, with completion targeted for this fall. This is the first of several announcements to come.
