𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙯 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙨

As we dive deep into the design process for our upcoming communities, Maplestone and Stonewalk, I found myself intrigued by the creation of quartz countertops—especially the intricate, natural-looking veining that closely resembles marble.

Did you know that quartz is actually a crystal? (Remember those in your rock collections from childhood?) The process of transforming quartz into these stunning countertops involves crushing the quartz and blending it with various sands, stone aggregates, and resin. The result is a vast array of beautiful designs that can suit any style.

I recently discovered a fascinating video from 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲, a leading quartz supplier with a state-of-the-art production facility in London, Ontario. Their products have been a staple in almost every kitchen design and countertop shop I’ve visited.

This video offers an interesting behind-the-scenes look at the process, and I couldn’t resist sharing it! As creatives here, we're now dreaming of a visit to their facility to concoct our very own quartz recipes!
