Every once in a while, a home comes along that gets you a little more than the others. This was one of those homes for me.
I fell in love with this one. So much so that I may have even considered buying it myself... but the timing just wasn’t right. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
On the first day on market, 5 of the 8 buyers who viewed the home wanted the chance to call it theirs. We ended up in multiple offers and sold firm for 107% of the list price!
This was the first time this home had ever been offered for sale since its original owners purchased it in 1969, and you could feel the history here. The pride of ownership, the care and the love this home had seen over the years was evident to everyone who walked through the door.
But results like this don’t just happen.
We prepared carefully. Some painting, deep cleaning, landscaping and thoughtful staging (thank you for your help! )helped this already beautiful home show at its absolute best. My sellers and their three incredibly supportive children trusted my guidance every step of the way, and together, we absolutely knocked this one out of the park.
I feel very lucky to have worked with such a lovely family and to have been trusted with a home that held so many years of memories.
