Hello Everyone,

As you know, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is a cause that's near and dear to my heart. I have been on three Shelter Hikes through the Sahara Desert, Purcell Mountains and Ecuador's Cotopaxi mountain range. This time, I am blessed to be able to ride a motorcycle in Romania to raise funds. The money is used locally by the Lacombe Victim Services Domestic Violence Fund to help women and children leave violent situations. Please follow the link below to donate. Thanks in Advance!



In August 2026, I’ll be heading to Romania’s famed Transylvania region to take part in an epic 7-day motorcycle ride – all in support of the Royal LePage® Shelter Foundation™.

Riding 200-300km per day alongside my big-hearted Royal LePage® colleagues, this extraordinary journey will have us crisscrossing the awe-inspiring southern Carpathian mountains via the world-famous Transfagarasan road. At an altitude of 2,145 meters, I will also ride the Transalpina Pass – Romania’s highest paved road.

While the vistas will be stunning and the beauty of mother nature around every turn, the ride will not be without its challenges. Days will be long on high mountain roads characterized by sharp hairpin turns and rapidly changing weather conditions.

To be eligible to take part, I will pay my own travel and ride expenses and must raise at least $3,000 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Of the funds I raise, 80% will be directed to my local women’s shelter and 20% will fund programs aimed at preventing intimate partner violence across Canada.

I know the adventure ahead will test me both physically and emotionally, but I’ve raised my hand because I believe that a house is only a home when the people who live there feel safe.
