$50,000+ raised in just the first 2 years of the Chinook Charity Open! ☺️

I had a moment where it all really hit me. This is $50,000 that didn’t exist two years ago, before this event was even an idea. It felt so surreal. This cause is personal for me. A few years ago my own heart stopped for 4 minutes, and I am only here today because of the care I received. Every dollar raised through this event goes toward making sure our community has that same fighting chance close to home.

When I started this event last year, I hoped it would grow into something meaningful. I never imagined we would cross this milestone so soon. That is entirely because of the people who showed up for it, the sponsors who believed in it before it had a track record, the golfers who came out and had fun while supporting something bigger, and the volunteers who gave their time without asking for anything in return. I am grateful beyond words.

Here is to year 3, and to bringing hearts home for good. 🏌️‍♂️❤️

What a day it was. 🏌️‍♂️

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the second annual Chinook Charity Open. Whether you played, volunteered, sponsored, or just showed up to cheer people on, you made this day genuinely special.❤️

And can we talk about the weather for a second? I think even Mother Nature knew this one mattered haha.

Congrats to the winner who walked away with Blue Jays tickets, hope you enjoy the game! I couldn’t believe someone guessed the EXACT number!

Now for the number that still doesn’t feel real. This year alone we raised over $30,000, bringing our combined total with last year to more than $50,000 for the Bring the Hearts Home campaign. Honestly, sitting with that number feels pretty surreal. Two years ago this was just an idea, and now it’s turning into real support for the new cardiac department at Chinook Regional Hospital.

Keep your eyes open, because year three is already on my mind. 👀

The city told me my property isn’t worth what they’re taxing me for...

So I asked for a reduction. Their answer? No, because I missed a deadline… for a notice I never even received. 🤯 This is exactly why you need to stay on top of every notice, deadline, and document when you’re dealing with the city. Has this happened to you?

WE DID IT!!!

$30,000 raised at this year’s Chinook Charity Open. And honestly? This community never ceases to amaze me.

When people heard what the target was, they showed up. The gap got closed. The goal got crushed.

Two years in, we’ve now raised over $50,000 total for the Bring the Hearts Home campaign at Chinook Regional Hospital. I don’t have the words for how proud I am of what we’re building together.

Grateful beyond measure. Now… goodnight. 😂
