Moving into Foundry First? Very exciting.

Remembering you still have an 8 a.m. class? Slightly less exciting. 😭

We can make coming home afterward a lot better. The syllabus, unfortunately, is out of our hands.

October is off to a good start at Foundry First.

Thanks to everyone who came out for Board Game Night and Door Sign Decorating. We had a great turnout for both and hope you enjoyed kicking off the month with us.

Thanks for making these events a great start to October!

There’s a lot happening under one roof at Foundry First.

One part of the day might be spent getting work done in a study space, the next could mean a workout, catching up with roommates, grabbing something from the 24/7 market, or settling in for a movie.

It’s easy to make the building work around whatever your week looks like.

A few days away calls for a quick check before you head out.

Fanshawe’s Reading Week takes place October 8 & 9, followed by the long weekend. We’ve put together a few reminders to help you leave your space ready for when you return.

Keep this checklist handy before you go.

Sometimes the best plan is cancelling the plan.

At Foundry First, the living room is already set up with a sofa, coffee table, TV, and high-speed fibre internet, so a night at home doesn’t need much preparation.

Just pick what you’re watching and get comfortable.

One of the perks of having roommates is always having someone nearby for the everyday stuff.

Study break, food run, outfit opinion, random plan. There’s usually someone ready to join in.

Roommate life at Foundry First definitely comes with benefits.

Some days, the plans are all right at home.

Start with a workout in the fitness centre, get some work done in one of Foundry First’s study spaces, grab something from the 24/7 Avenue C Market, then finish the night in the cinema or games room.

Which Foundry First space would you spend the most time in?

We’re always excited when a new student is thinking about joining Foundry First. 😂

A new face means another potential neighbour, roommate, friend, or familiar face around the building.

Come see what makes Foundry First such a fun place to call home.

Foundry First brings together the kind of spaces and community that make student life feel a little more social and a lot less routine.

It’s a place where the energy comes from the people who live here and everything happening around them.

There’s a reason Foundry First feels different.
