A fantastic weekend in Thornbury and finally some beautiful weather! ☀️

I spent the weekend wandering through the flower market, picking up fresh finds at the farmers’ market, supporting some amazing local shops, and hitting the trails with the dogs. 🌸🐾

It’s incredible what a week of sunshine can do. After a long winter, everything feels alive again—the flowers are blooming, the trails are green, and the community is buzzing with energy.

Weekends like this are a great reminder of why I love living and working in Southern Georgian Bay.

A perfect Saturday in Thornbury/Clarksburg🌿💜

Started the morning with a stroll to the flower market and picked up some beautiful lilacs Then I stopped by BVO, a fantastic organization and thrift store that supports so many great activities and initiatives in our community.

Next on the list was a visit to one of my favourite consignment boutiques, before making my final stop to fill up my honey bucket I had the chance to meet Megan, who is taking over the family business from her parents, and I couldn’t be happier to see it remain family-owned. Their honey is, without question, the best I’ve ever tasted! 🍯

Days like this are a great reminder of how many amazing local businesses make Thornbury/Clarksburg such a special place to call home.

From charming century homes to stunning custom beachfront properties and beautiful homes near the ski hills, there was truly something for every lifestyle we love here in Southern Georgian Bay.

I love supporting local events that bring our community together, and this one is extra special as money raised goes toward the upkeep and upgrades of the Rocklyn Arena.

Join the community on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the Rocklyn Fair Grounds for a full day of classic cars, antique tractors, music, family fun, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, 4H BBQ fundraiser, beer gardens, and more.

📍 Rocklyn Fair Grounds
🕘 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
🎟 Admission: $10/person or $20/family
🚘 Free admission for drivers and no exhibitor fees

Classic car, truck, and tractor exhibits are welcome!
