A home can look great in photos, but a showing is your chance to look beyond the paint and staging.

Take a few minutes to notice:

Signs of water damage around ceilings, windows and the basement
The age and general condition of the roof, furnace and electrical panel
Cracks, uneven floors or doors that don’t close properly
Storage, parking and how the layout fits your everyday life
Nearby traffic, neighboring properties and the overall area
