ATTENTION TINY SHORELINE OWNERS
The new Tiny Shoreline By-Law applies to all land within 45 metres of the 178 G.S.C Elevation adjacent to Georgian Bay, in the Township of Tiny. 100% of shoreline owners – not just the dynamic beaches – but ALL shoreline owners in Tiny are affected by this by-law which we believe to be flawed and overreaching, and as such have appealed it to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) on your behalf.
If within 45 metres of the 178 metre elevation on your property, whether it be in front of, beside or even behind your main structure, you will need a permit for plantings, decks, fire pits, walkways, stairs, fences, signs, structures. ANYTHING that you do except General Shoreline Maintenance will require one or more costly permits.
We all value, respect, and manage our respective shorelines responsibly. Do you think Tiny should manage your property to this extent?
Taking a matter to the OLT requires significant funding.
