Which lead me to the idea to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. I learned to do everything in the industry to my fullest potential, from washing dishes to waiting tables to bartending and making Cuban’s famous Mojitos. I was able to support my mother, and also make more than the average Cuban…..but when you live in a Communist country everything you own could be taken away, so I decided to leave and come to Canada to pursue a better life. When I arrive in Canada it was a dream come true. There were so many opportunities right at your fingers tips. Everything I dreamt of, I put them in motion with determination and with no limitations. Coming to Toronto with experience in the hospitality industry, I started working in restaurants. A few years later, my General Manager asked me to help him open up his own restaurant with the offer of being a partner. There I met my beautiful wife who I later married, and started a family with. One day while driving home, she tells me that I should try a new career in real estate. Given my background in customer service, and my personality, I would make a great Realtor. And the rest as they say it is history. Helping people buy and sell Real Estate has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
