Lake Muskoka Cottage

Lake Muskoka Cottage A cottage became our home. Our “new life” began over a decade ago… nature, art and charity work with our two rescue dogs while on palliative care. Life is short.

Ature never looked so good. Live with kindness.

Find me where the crowd is less.
Find me under the blue sky.
Find me where the unseen are.
In a world of billions we still look for solitude…
and somehow we still look for connection.
Something deeper than the noise.
For me that was sitting with the ones who have no one.
The truly forgotten.
The people the world kept moving past
when their world had already stopped www.theAngelproject.ca

Why are you always working ? This … I did it for this … for days in the boat .. for average days looking like this. For sunsets and time with them…. Every choice leads you somewhere. Be careful which route you chose …. Go after what you want everything is within reach if you believe it is. Make@your own ☀️

Do you live in or summer in have you watched ? I received so many messages on socials when sterling point hit number 1 Globally. The scenery is amazing and feels like home. Would watching the show make you want to visit ?

The moment we realize summer is almost over. It’s funny how at the end we always want more time. We hang on to every last drop of connection like it might slip through our fingers if we loosen our grip even a little. Every moment feels sacred now. Every sunset that paints the sky in soft gold and fading rose. Every slow swim through water that still holds the warmth of the day. There are no more No’s left in us. We stop resisting and simply let it all go, sinking deeper into whatever remains of these long, light-filled hours.
Those first days of summer come rushing back the ones when the days stretched out endlessly, when time itself felt generous and the evenings never seemed in a hurry to arrive. We thought they would last forever. Yet here we are, only an hour away from the shift. Kids packing backpacks and returning to school. Some of you carefully folding clothes and driving your teens to university for the very first time, watching them step into a new chapter while your heart stays behind a little. And some of us already beginning the quiet count of weeks until Christmas, waiting for the moment we can hold a child who lives on the other side of the world.
These days are thinner now, more precious. So don’t waste the moments that are still here. They end before you know it, slipping away quietly while we’re busy looking forward or looking back. Hold them gently while you can…. How are you spending the last moment of

I found this a week ago, but I’ve been getting behind. I have to share. This is an absolute place that I thought everyone knew about…. But the more people I tell the more I find out many of you have never visited. This is an absolute gem located in Torrance between Bala and Gravenhurst. You can stop by for some amazing breakfast sandwich sandwiches (and incredible price) a wonderful smoothies and great coffee. There are two pop-ups with handmade bags, jewelry and accessories and a second really cool one with colorful, handmade and vintage clothes. Such as the adorable towel pants. Inside it’s like an old-fashioned, beautiful convenience. Store with high-end natural brand followed by a lovely little gift boutique and beautiful clothes. It is so inviting and organized by color. It is wonderful to have something feminine for the lake whereas most things are normally blue and red here you’re seeing pink and green and creams. Make sure to stop by. Muskoka Crossing open everyday but on weekends you will sometimes find live music and further pop ups.
