With the cost of living continuing to rise, many families are having to make incredibly difficult choices, and for some, celebrating a child’s birthday with a cake just isn’t possible right now.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚’𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐬.

Our goal is to donate 𝟓𝟎 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐬 to food banks across Niagara, helping families celebrate life’s little milestones, even during tough times. Because every child deserves to feel special on their birthday.

This is my unpaid employee Andrew shoutout post 🤍

If you’ve worked with me, chances are you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Andrew. He may not have his real estate licence, but trust me, he’s in the business. 😂

He wears MANY hats around here… my landscaper, staging transportation department, dump run driver, heavy lifter, problem solver, and pretty much any other title I need to give him that day.

I may be the face you see, but there is so much that happens behind the scenes in real estate, and I truly couldn’t do what I do without him. As my business grows, he continues to be my biggest cheerleader, supporter, and the person who helps me pull off all my crazy ideas (and there a lot of crazy ideas lol)

19 years since the day we met, and through all the chaos, adventures and hats I’ve made you wear, I still just really love that I get to do life with you. 🤍

My name may be on the sign, but it’s definitely a team effort.

Social Media vs. Real Life

I think a lot of us grew up believing adulthood would look something like this:

Graduate.
Land a great job.
Get married.
Buy a house before 30.

But real life doesn’t always follow that timeline.

The average first-time home buyer in Canada is around 40 years old, and many buyers don’t have a 20% down payment. Most people are simply figuring it out one step at a time.

One of the things I hear most often is:
“I wish I could buy a house, but I don’t think it’s in the cards for me.”
Or,
“I want to buy... I’m just not ready yet.”

And maybe that’s true.

But maybe it isn’t.

The only way to know is by having the conversation.

It is never too early to understand your options, even if buying a home is still a year or two away. A plan today can make a huge difference when you’re ready tomorrow.
