I was so proud to help this hard working family. They wanted to move from a condo to a freehold home and together we did it. They prepared their home beautifully and got just the result they were hoping for. I'm very happy for them.

Where to go in Ottawa this Summer?

Definitely to one of the Tavern locations but here are the differences:

Tavern on the Hill:
-you get a table then go up to the bar to get food and drinks.
-menu is mostly tacos and hot dogs.
-lineups to get food/drinks.
-fantastic lounge furniture (if you can get one of those spots).
-busy, high energy.
-lights and fires and views are beautiful.
-especially nice after dark.

Tavern at the Gallery:
-table service!
-no lines to get your food and drinks.
-menu has pizza, pasta, salads.
-very comfortable lounge furniture.
-gorgeous gardens and lights.
-very chill, relaxing atmosphere.
-calm vibe.

Bianca has tested them both out with some lovely friends and here’s the verdict: Tavern at the Gallery wins by a landslide.

Wandering around Kiweki point after is a breathtaking bonus. You have to check it out.

Where to go in Ottawa this Summer?

Bianca has spent the last week catching up with old friends and exploring some gorgeous views downtown.

Kiweki Point, formerly Nepean Point, is right behind the National Art Gallery and overlooks the Ottawa River. It’s a fantastic spot to see fireworks! Bring a picnic, lay on a blanket, wander around the art sculptures, hit up the gelato truck. It really is a breathtaking place to take in. A must see for sure!

It was an absolute honour to work with the new owners of this home. They spent a year planning and working hard to move from a condo to a freehold home and ended up in a fully renovated, centrally located, fully detached home. This is an example of a family working together to make their goals come to fruition.

I'm so grateful to have been part of their journey and hope they have many happy years there.

Big thank you to Danny Grimes for letting Kai Howell be a part of the StreetPizza613 experience. Kai learned how to make pizzas and smash burgers then served them to a community in need.

Some valuable lessons were learned this weekend and Kai is very much looking forward to doing it again.
