🏗️ Canada’s is at the centre of a major shift, driven by rising housing needs, climate goals, and the move toward low-carbon, high-performance buildings. Behind every project are workers, tradespeople, and professionals whose skills and expertise are evolving alongside the industry.

To support this transition, the Canada Green Building Council has been funded in part by the Government of Canada's Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program to lead a multi-year initiative focused on understanding and strengthening Canada’s construction workforce.

In collaboration with national partners, this work will focus on labour market research and training pathways to better support the people doing the work on the ground.

This initiative will help identify where support is needed most so that individuals across the sector are equipped for new opportunities in low-carbon construction.
