Big update. 🏗️ BuildShare is gearing up for its first infill project, a 10-unit build under the City of Ottawa’s new CM2 zoning, with construction planned for spring 2026.

The Ottawa Infill Bus Tours started as a way to bring people closer to real development by walking active sites, asking questions, and seeing how infill actually gets built. But it was never just about tours. It was about something bigger.

BuildShare is a first-of-its-kind real estate development and investment program designed to go beyond theory. You learn by doing. The program blends real ownership with hands-on experience through every stage of a real project, from planning and permitting to construction and stabilization.

This first project is the entry point. It’s part of a broader plan to deliver roughly 100 units over the next three years.

Behind BuildShare is a team of experienced builders, planners, architects, legal experts, brokers, and a general contractor. Each plays a key role in guiding the project from concept to completion and helping participants understand how every piece fits together.

Hands-on participation in this first project is limited. A small number of spots are being opened for people who want to learn infill development by being involved in a real build from the inside.
