On Friday, August 7th, Bald Range Wildfire destroyed the homes of the Tumbach’s and the Bovenzi’s on their shared property in Garnet Valley.
The devastation is immeasurable. It all happened so quickly, and the extent of the damage is massive.
The farm is a place of love, a place of joy. Food, music, creativity and fun flourished.
It was home to a total 14 amazing family members! Kids, Grandmas, Uncles and Aunties.
Anyone who has ever been there would know.... the farm was a magical place.
A place to always feel love, peace and acceptance.
Celebrations, laughter, games, music, parties and lots and lots of food.
The future will be challenging, no doubt about that. Incredibly difficult changes and still so many unknowns. But there is so much strength in the love and connection of these families and the communities which surround them - we will all come out stronger!
Many folks have expressed a desire to help out. These generous offerings warm our hearts and are graciously received. We will see what needs arise in the coming weeks, as the dust settles on this disaster.
If you are able to help financially, your generosity is welcomed.
Now it will be a time for patience, a time for courage and a time for us all to come together and rebuild.
Anything helps.
Let us be grateful to live where we live, with our awesome community. Let’s try to make this experience a positive one as much as possible, and help us to cherish the people around us that make our lives better.
