🏡 September’s numbers are in! Here’s a look at how our Central Alberta communities are doing.
Average sale prices year to date are higher in all six communities compared with 2025, while sales activity varies from one market to the next.
📍 Sylvan Lake recorded 37 sales in September, up 9% from last September. The year to date average sale price is $454,442, with 153 active listings at the end of the month and 4.1 months of inventory.
📍 Red Deer saw 137 September sales, down 5% from last year. The year to date average sale price rose 4% to $417,892. September active listings increased 13% to 401.
📍 Blackfalds recorded 22 September sales, down 8%. The year to date average sale price increased 6% to $418,485, while September active listings fell 10% to 57.
📍 Lacombe had 17 September sales, up 21%. The year to date average sale price reached $434,912, up 6%, with 59 active listings in September.
📍 Innisfail recorded 20 September sales, up 25%. Its year to date average sale price increased 11% to $419,164, the largest percentage increase among these six communities.
📍 Penhold had 6 September sales, up 50% from 4 last September. Year to date sales also increased 16%, with the average sale price rising 7% to $429,155.
