Last week, we started at the front entry. Now we're stepping into the heart of the transformation.

One of the biggest changes in this home wasn't a new finish or fixture—it was removing the wall between the kitchen and living room.

This wasn't just any wall—it was load-bearing, meaning it played a critical role in supporting the home. Opening up the space required careful planning and the installation of a structural beam to safely carry the load above. It's the kind of work that takes experience, precision, and an understanding of what's happening behind the walls—not just what you see on the surface.

With the new beam in place, we were able to create an open-concept layout that completely transformed the feel of the main floor. Natural light now flows throughout the space, sightlines are improved, and the kitchen, dining, and living areas feel connected, making everyday life and entertaining so much more enjoyable.
