Places I Love: Discovery Canyon ๐ŸŒŠ

One of my favourite warm-weather spots in Central Alberta is Discovery Canyon in Red Deer.

It is simple, fun, family-friendly, and one of those places that just feels like summer. Whether you are bringing the kids, meeting up with friends, or just looking for an easy way to spend a sunny afternoon, it is a great little local gem.

I love places like this because they remind you that you do not always have to travel far to find something fun to do. Sometimes the best spots are right here in our own backyard.

My Top 5 Subdivisions in Lacombe ๐Ÿก

This is just on my own personal opinion, but if I had to pick my top 5 subdivisions in Lacombe, I would go with The Lakes, Fairway Heights, Hennerโ€™s Landing, Elizabeth Park, and Cranna Cove.

The Lakes has always stood out to me for that quiet, tucked-away feel with beautiful homes and a peaceful residential setting. Fairway Heights has that established appeal and a great location that makes it easy to like.

Hennerโ€™s Landing brings more of a newer-subdivision feel, with some great lots, views, and access to walking trails. Elizabeth Park is one of those areas that gives off a family-friendly, comfortable neighbourhood vibe, and Cranna Cove rounds out the list with a quiet, desirable feel.

Over that same time, the Central Alberta market saw approximately 71.7% of new listings sell. That does not mean every home is easy to sell, and it definitely does not mean the market does all the work for you.
