‼️Stone Crusher Operator Position Available‼️
Location: Campbells Bay & Bristol Mines, Quebec
Job Summary:
The Stone Crusher Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining stone crushing equipment at construction sites, quarries, or mining operations. The role involves loading raw materials, monitoring the crushing process, ensuring equipment runs efficiently, and maintaining safety and environmental standards in compliance with Quebec and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor crushing equipment (jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, etc.)
• Feed raw material into the crusher using loaders or excavators
• Adjust crusher settings for size reduction and production targets
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report malfunctions
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Record production data and equipment logs
• Assist in loading trucks with crushed stone or gravel
• Comply with all environmental and occupational health and safety regulations in Quebec (e.g. CNESST standards)
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with stone crushing or heavy machinery operation preferred
• Valid heavy equipment operator certificate (if required)
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of crushing processes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
• Knowledge of CNESST safety regulations
