Okay so remember how I said the solution to all my problems isn’t monarch butterflies. Well, I finished my training with Nature Saint John this week and I am officially a tagger now lol.

Basically each butterfly gets a tiny numbered tag, and when someone finds it later they can tell how far it flew and where it ended up. That info helps protect the places monarchs actually need along the way, which matters a lot right now since their numbers have been dropping.

Is it a little nerdy. Yes. Am I obsessed. Also yes.

Anyway I am so happy I get to be part of this. If you love birds and gardens as much as I do, come find me, we will have a lot to talk about.

Okay so I had one of those mornings where I stepped outside, stretched, and just started thinking about everything I’ve figured out lately lol. Like genuinely, alcohol does nothing for me anymore, I feel better without it. Self care isn’t some extra thing I do when I have time, it’s first, always. I really believe it’s never too late to start over, I’ve done it more than once and I’m not sorry about it. I’m also just done filtering anything, what you see is what you get with me now, freckles and all. And on the work side, I’m so tired of people thinking they need their kids’ permission to downsize, it’s your house, your call. Oh and also, there’s no such thing as a real estate emergency, my family comes first, always will.

Anyway. What have you figured out lately?
