As the big maple leaves tumble down and crunch like cereal underfoot, it's the perfect time for warm sweaters and good walking boots. Here on Vancouver Island's south coast, autumn in Sooke is golden, quiet and full of cozy moments, from misty mornings on Whiffin Spit to peaceful afternoon walks.

Join us **Saturday, October 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Whiffin Spit in Sooke, BC** for **Witches on Water**, a fun-filled fundraiser supporting the **Sooke Food Bank** ❤️

Dress up in your **favourite witch costume** and hit the water for a fun route through **Sooke Harbour**. There will be **prizes for 1st and 2nd place** and **five different categories** to show off your creativity and witchy spirit! 🧙‍♀️🏆

**Witch on Water:** Paddleboard, canoe, or kayak your way through the route.

🌿 **Witch on Land:** Don’t have a watercraft? No problem! Put on your best witch costume, bring the **family, your friends, and even your pet**, and stroll along beautiful **Whiffen Spit**.
