Being a REALTOR® is basically 10 jobs disguised as one.

Yes, I get to tour beautiful homes, hand over keys and put SOLD signs in yards.

But there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes that my clients never have to see, and I actually love that part.

The research. The strategy. The negotiations. The follow ups. The deadlines. The problem solving.

And occasionally putting out a fire before my client even knows there was one. 😅

Don’t use me as your Realtor if you care about these things, because I don’t 😅

I don’t care if it takes you twenty showings to find the one, or if you fall in love with the very first home you walk into.

I don’t care how many “silly” questions you ask, ask all of them.

I don’t care if your budget changes three times before we find the one.

I don’t care if you bring your kids to house tours (I hope you do!)

I don’t care if you cry a little during the final walkthrough (happens more than you’d think).

My job is to make this feel easy, stress-free, and fun!

01 – What lens was this shot on? (Wide angle can be deceiving)
02 – Should we see this in person? (Homes often look different in person)
03 – When were these photos taken? (Furniture, paint, and even the yard can change)

The Narrows is the only entrance into St. John’s harbour, carved straight through rock, and somehow full size cruise ships thread through it all summer long.

It’s one of those things you have to see in person to really believe.

This is what I mean when I tell relocation clients St. John’s doesn’t feel like anywhere else in Canada.

You can’t win a game you’re too scared to play.

I think about this constantly, in business and in life. Waiting for the “safe” moment, the guaranteed outcome, the sure thing before you commit to anything worth having usually just means you never commit at all.

Real estate taught me this fast. Every listing, every consult, every “I’m putting myself out there” moment on this page comes with the risk of it not working out. But playing it safe was never actually safe, it was just a slower way of losing.

So if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines of something, your business, a move, a decision you’ve been putting off, this is your reminder. You don’t have to feel ready. You just have to be in the game.
