August brought more homes to the Newfoundland & Labrador market, but sales slowed compared to this time last year.

The average home price reached $366,918, up 4.0% from August 2025, while 1,039 new listings hit the market, an increase of 19.8%.

With 624 homes sold and 2,847 active listings, buyers have more options, but well-priced homes are still moving in a competitive market.

For buyers, being prepared and ready to act matters. For sellers, strong pricing and presentation remain key.
