Make & Mingle at MALT: Textured Art with Janette is back with two new dates, and we’d love to see you there.

Janette will guide you through creating your own textured mixed media canvas from start to finish. You’ll layer, build, and paint and leave with something that’s completely yours. No experience needed, just come ready to enjoy the process.

We’ve got big things moving over here, literally.

We’re looking for a couple strong, reliable people to join the Malt team - casual, part-time.

You’ll be loading and unloading trailers, carefully moving and assembling furniture and keeping the warehouse in order.

We are so excited to welcome Ella, one of our former co-op students, back to the Malt team for the summer.

She’s just wrapped up her first year in interior decorating and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her grow!

Timing in life and business is sometimes divine, and other times it means your trailer goes in for repair for over a month right in the heart of spring market. Perfect timing, as always. 😅

But here’s what we keep coming back to. The community we work with and within is something truly special. These past weeks, so many of you showed up in the most generous, unexpected ways, lending us your trailer, your truck (yes, ours needed a new transmission while the trailer was also down, we couldn’t make this up), and with two stagings often on the books in a single day, we genuinely could not have gotten through it without you.

In thick and thin, we always make it through. 43 homes currently staged, moving parts that literally wouldn’t move if it weren’t for some pretty spectacular people in our corner.

To everyone who helped, you know who you are. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. 🤍

We love when a home finds its people quickly. 🤍

There’s something really special about walking into a space and just... feeling it. That’s what staging creates. A feeling that’s hard to put into words but impossible to ignore.

This one sold in a week and we are so grateful we got to be part of that.

Vendor applications are open!

The Malt Market: Community Edition | August 15th, 12–5PM
In support of the Local Community Food Centre 🌱

We’re bringing together a curated group of local vendors for a summer market right here in Wartburg and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Talented makers and small businesses across a variety of categories are what we’re looking for, including handmade goods, artisan crafts, food and more. This market will be intentional and small, just 10 vendor spots, so each vendor has a chance to truly shine.

Vendor fee: $75
Application deadline: May 31st

This season always brings the best kind of busy, and with everything picking up we thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce our year-round staging team.

This team. Honestly, there are no words.

These women show up every single day and make everything we do at Malt possible. The long days, the early mornings, the behind-the-scenes chaos that nobody sees, they do it all with a smile and we are so beyond grateful.

We couldn’t do this without them. We genuinely mean that. 🤍

Our Home Styling Sessions are one of the most impactful ways we work with clients one on one. We come to your space, assess what’s working and what isn’t, and guide you through layout, furniture placement, colour direction, styling and what to keep, move, or add.
