Meet Dana 👋

Our newest addition to the MALT team 🤍

Dana brings such a creative eye to the team and has a natural love for spaces that feel warm, collected and full of personality. She’s especially drawn to character, texture and pieces that feel like they have a story to tell.

We’re so excited to have her with us and can’t wait for you to get to know her a little better.

A little peek into her design world:

✦ Secretly judges: Spaces with no personality or soul

✦ Favourite interior style: English Cottage. Cozy, warm, lived-in and full of character

✦ Favourite colour palette: Creams, sage greens, pale blues + soft pinks

✦ Favourite room to stage: Bedrooms. A big cozy bed layered with pillows, blankets + textures

✦ Go-to aisle in HomeSense: Seasonal decor. She loves switching things up every season

✦ Currently obsessed with: Raw stone textures. Vessels, lamps, light fixtures, tile + limestone

We couldn’t not give this Goderich apartment a little lakeside feel. 🤍🌊

Soft creams, blues and warm wood tones kept it cozy and lived-in, while still feeling fresh, light and relaxed.

We’re growing… which currently looks a lot like a very large game of warehouse Tetris

Expanding during one of our busiest seasons means it might take us a little while to get everything exactly where we want it, but we are SO excited to have more room to spread out, organize and keep growing.

A very good problem to have, and one we’re incredibly grateful for.

Join us for Create Your Happy Place, an evening all about making your home feel more intentional, comfortable and personal.

We’ll be sharing approachable design tips, some of the things we look for when pulling a space together, and simple ideas you can actually use in your own home. Whether you have no idea what your style is or you already love all things design, there will be something to take away.

And because we know every home comes with its own questions, we’re saving plenty of time for an Ask the Expert Q&A too. Bring your design dilemmas, the spaces you’re stuck on, or anything you’ve always wanted to ask the MALT team.

It means so much to be recognized alongside so many incredible local businesses. Thank you to everyone who has supported MALT along the way, and to whoever took the time to nominate us. We’re incredibly thankful to be part of this community.

A little look back at such a special day at the MALT Market 🤍

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, shopped, stopped by to say hello and spent part of their Saturday with us. It was so lovely seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones and watching the space come to life throughout the day.

A huge thank you as well to all of the vendors who joined us and helped make the Market what it was. We’re so grateful for the time, energy and care each of you brought with you.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who helped us support the Local Community Food Centre. Being able to bring people together while giving back to such an important part of our community made the day that much more meaningful.

Make & Mingle at MALT: Textured Art with Janette is back with two new dates, and we’d love to see you there.

Janette will guide you through creating your own textured mixed media canvas from start to finish. You’ll layer, build, and paint and leave with something that’s completely yours. No experience needed, just come ready to enjoy the process.
