Toronto’s housing market is giving buyers something we haven’t seen in a while: options.
Compared to last May, prices are down, inventory remains elevated, and homes are taking longer to sell. That means buyers have more choice, more time to make decisions, and more room to negotiate. Meanwhile, sellers who price and market their homes properly are still getting results.
The important thing to remember? There isn’t one Toronto market. What’s happening in Lawrence Park may be very different than what’s happening in Leaside, Lesliville, or the Beaches.
If you’re wondering what these numbers mean for your neighbourhood, send me a DM. I’m happy to provide a custom market update for your area.
