Wow… where do I begin? ❤️

I feel incredibly blessed and truly overwhelmed by all the birthday love. The phone calls, text messages, social media posts, and heartfelt wishes from near and far have meant more to me than you know.

This birthday was extra special. I celebrated with my husband, my children, and their wonderful partners. Sharing great food, birthday cake, lots of laughs, and meaningful conversations made my heart so full.

The celebrations started with a lovely evening with my dear friends Michelle and Sherry, continued today with my in laws, and will keep going this week with colleagues and business partners. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by such amazing people.

To everyone who took the time to reach out, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every message, every call, and every kind word made my birthday even more memorable.

I’ve been doing my best to thank everyone personally. If I haven’t replied to you yet, please know I will. I’m still making my way through all the messages and posts, and I truly appreciate every single one.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making me feel so loved. I am beyond grateful.

I’m on a Montreal food mission. Thirty years in Toronto and I still can’t get these tastes out of my head. My sister surprised me with a steamed hot dog and keto poutine, and honestly it hit different. Now I’m hunting for authentic Montreal-style subs and a proper fondue chinois in the city. If you know where to find these, please help a girl out. Montreal raised, Toronto home, but my heart’s still craving those Montreal hot dogs. Please post your suggestions in the comments.

International Women’s Day isn’t just about celebrating women.
It’s about remembering that every right women have today started as something someone once said was “too much to ask”… and they asked anyway. 💜

So today, I’m not only thanking the strong women who kept going, I’m also thinking about the women who are tired right now.
The ones rebuilding, learning again, starting late, starting over, or still figuring it out.
