It has taken me this long to be able to write this post with out going into hysterics.
On Wednesday we received the terrible and unfantheable news that we had lost my chosen brother Joe Da Costa. Joe was vacationing in Portugal with his family where he came to his very short end of his life.
Joe was a loving father and husband, a great provider for his family, a great long time friend (brother), and a very knowledgeable conversationalist. I will miss our involved discussions.
I don't know how I will be able to walk down the dock towards his slip knowing that I will never be met by him offering me a beer or a scotch.
My love, support and prayers go out to Shanna and Mel. We will always be the family we chose !!!
