INFLATION OR PROFITEERING: Among the most commonly used words the past six months is "inflation". However, recent announcements of record profits by some oil companies and certain food retailers at the very least put into question whether inflation is naturally driven or elevated due to profiteering. If profiteering is in play than rising interest rates are improperly being used.
